KEN Uganda Foundation uplifts marginalized communities in Northern Uganda through water, sanitation , hygiene, education, healthcare, and advocacy for sustainable change.
Due to no alternative clean water source. The community uses this water for drinking and other domestic work. Furthermore they move 3-4km looking for water. The community suffers from water borne diseases and this has led to poor health status.
At community level, there is still high rate of open defecation.
These schools are with out changing rooms for the girls, no incinerator for the waste with no privacy.
The community of Northern Uganda still suffers from the trauma of the past years of the LRA war , drug abuses leading to high physical and psychological violence.
This would help us to do community outreaches, referrals, dialogues and radio programs

Meet Mr. Latigo a community water engineer with over 20 years in constructing water sources. Most of the water sources in Northern Uganda was constructed by him under different partners.
