KEN Uganda Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit organization founded in 2016, dedicated to empowering marginalized and vulnerable communities in Northern Uganda. We operate with the vision of “Creating a Better World” for those in need. The name “KACEL,” meaning “Together/Gather,” reflects our commitment to uniting communities affected by decades of conflict. Our mission is to facilitate sustainable development and advocate for the rights and well-being of these communities.

Chance To Learn

KEN Uganda Foundation uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which emphasizes the collective identification of community problems and the collaboration of all stakeholders in solving these issues. This bottom-up approach promotes community ownership and long-term sustainability, empowering local populations to address challenges with minimal reliance on external aid.

Our core values—transparency, accountability, team building, excellence, integrity, and prayer—guide our efforts to create meaningful change. By working closely with local partners and stakeholders, we strive to improve the quality of life for vulnerable populations, including orphans, persons living with disabilities, and street children.
